Product basics
Is VidLinkIt free?
Yes. The core paste-and-save tools are free to use. We may show ads to support hosting and development.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required for normal public-link use.
Which platforms are supported?
Currently: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TeraBox, plus a Live TV directory. See the homepage platform grid for the live list.
Do you store the videos I download?
Downloads are delivered to your device. VidLinkIt is not a public media library of other people’s files for browsing later.
Rights & rules
Can I download any video I can watch?
No. Being able to watch something publicly is not the same as having a license to keep or redistribute a file. Use VidLinkIt only for media you own or are permitted to save. Read lawful personal media use.
Can I download private or paid content?
No. Private, login-only, paid, and DRM-protected media are out of scope.
Are you affiliated with YouTube / Instagram / TikTok?
No. VidLinkIt is independent. Brand names are used for identification only.
Live TV
Do you broadcast TV channels yourselves?
No. The Live TV feature browses public listings from iptv-org and plays streams from their upstream sources. Availability and legality can vary by country. See Live TV explained.
Privacy & ads
Do you need my social passwords?
No for normal public posts and videos. Be cautious of any site that asks for them.
Why are there ads or analytics?

Troubleshooting
A link will not resolve
Check that it is public, try another quality, use Wi‑Fi, and confirm the source still plays in a normal browser. Full checklist: Troubleshooting downloads.
